Admission Guidelines


  • Information published by the University in this Prospectus, University Website, Advertisements or otherwise in any manner must be read in conjunction with supplements, updations, rectifications, clarifications, corrigendums, notices etc. as and if issued by the University from time to time. Applicants and other concerned must ensure that they know up-to-date information before applying for admission or any other purpose whatsoever.
  • Any degree/diploma obtained from a fake University, Board, Council, Institution, College etc. as notified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or any other concerned apex body or otherwise not found genuine on verification shall not be considered for admission to any programme of the University. Result of the test (if applicable) and Admission on such basis, if granted shall stand cancelled and the applicant shall have no claim, whatsoever against the University. Fee and other charges, including amount paid for provisional registration,  paid by the candidate shall stand forfeited and the candidate shall further be liable to pay  the fee and other charges for remaining/ entire duration of the programme.
  •  Applicants will be required to produce certificate/documents in original at the time of admission for the purpose of verification, and even thereafter, as and when instructed by the University.
  • Original certificates of an applicant normally will not be retained and will be returned after verification; however in exceptional cases, if required, the University may retain them for verification from the Board/Council/University from where the certificates are supposed to be issued.
  • If any applicant is found ineligible for admission on verification of the document(s) at any stage or otherwise his admission shall stand canceled and the case may be handed to the relevant authority under the law of land. In such a case, the applicant shall have no claim, whatsoever against the University.
  • If an applicant is found ineligible for admission on verification of the document(s) at any stage or otherwise, his/her admission to University if granted, shall stand cancelled and the case may be handed to the relevant authority under the law of land. In such a case, the applicant shall have no claim whatsoever against the University. Fee and other charges, including amount paid for provisional registration, paid by the candidate shall stand forfeited and the candidate shall further be liable to pay  the fee and other charges for remaining/ entire duration of the programme.
    • Applicants who are either awaiting for the result or due to appear for qualifying exam may also apply; provided that the result of the qualifying exam must be furnished to the University within one month of commencement of session or before the commencement of End Term Examination of the 1st term or concerned term in case of Lateral Entry, unless otherwise specified by the University.
    • In case an applicant fails to produce the proof of fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria or fails to provide original documents for verification by the stipulated date(s) or any other document as and when prescribed by the University, he shall not be considered eligible for admission and admission, in any case, if granted due to any reason, shall be canceled and the applicant shall have no claim, whatsoever against the University. Fee and other charges, including amount paid for provisional registration,  paid by the candidate shall stand forfeited and the candidate shall further be liable to pay  the fee and other charges for remaining/ entire duration of the programme.
  • Rounding off marks for calculating the aggregate marks is not allowed.
  • Application Form received without fee or otherwise incomplete in any respect or received after the last date of submission of Application Form may not be considered/evaluated for admission or may be summarily rejected without notice and without seeking any clarification.
  • Submission of Application Form/Fee or any other document and/or acknowledgment thereof by the University or generation of Admission ID, ID Card and Registration Number does not guarantee admission to any programme or facility of the University.
  • The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.
  • Other Fees: In addition to tuition fee and other charges prescribed under programme details, students will be required to pay the fee and charges for following and such other facilities/ purposes as and if applicable and/ or announced by the University.
    • Employability Enhancement Programmes (EEP)/ Professional Enhancement Programme (PEP)
    • Diagnostic / Pre-Assessment / Assessment / Benchmarking Tests
    • Summer school / Summer or Winter classes
    • Scrutiny and/ or Re-evaluation Fee
    • Reappear/  Make up examination Fee
    • Backlog courses
    • Additional courses pursued during regular term/semester
    • Pre-Term / Post- Term
    • Workshop / Training / Internship/ Projects/ Survey etc.
    • Tours including educations tours & Visits including industrial visits
    • Programme Transfer Fee
    • Migration Fee
    • NOC / Migration for joining elsewhere, if permitted
    • Vehicle Registration and/ or Parking Fee
    • Term Evaluation fees, Thesis evaluation fees, Lab, Experimentation & other fees
    • Membership fee for Professional Bodies
    • Subscription fee for Newspaper, Magazines, Journals etc.
    • Alumni Association Fee (in the last semester/year)
    • Eligibility verification or authentication fees
    • Any expenditure incurred for postage/ out of pocket expenditure/ for written or/ telephonic or electronic communication with the parents/ guardian etc.
    • Any other fee/ charges as prescribed by University from time to time.
  • Payment of fee
    • Applicant is required to pay the programme fee, examination fee and late fee (if applicable) and Application fee (in case of downloaded Application Form) in full by the stipulated date.
    • Separate Demand Drafts or Pay Orders for payment on account of programme fee, examination fee and late fee, whichever applicable, may be submitted by the applicant.
    • Applicant must write his Name, Father's Name, Contact No., Application No. (if any), Name of the Study Centre, Study Centre Code, Programme applied for and Programme Code at the backside of DD/PO.
    • Incomplete or wrong Demand Draft or Pay Order will not be accepted.
    • If the last date for payment of fee is a holiday, the fee shall be paid on the first working day after the holiday.
    • All type of fee and charges as prescribed by the University and the various facilities provided by the University are subject to revision/change from time to time.
    • Programme fee and other fee prescribed for a term/ semester under the Programme details is only for the normal duration of the term/semester as specified therein.
    • Government taxes, levis and such other charges, if any, as and when applicable will be payable by the student and will be added to the fee to be charged from the students.
  • International applicants (NRI, PIO and Foreign Nationals)
    • Fee for International applicants will be different from the fee specified for Indian applicants and will be specified separately except for the International Applicants who are willing to enroll in India and appear for Examination in India. For such international applicants fee is same as for Indian applicants, as mentioned in the prospectus.
    • Courier charges for the dispatch of study material or other material or other related cost will be borne by the applicant, in addition to the fee and charges prescribed in the prospectus.
  • Late Admission
    In case an applicant is admitted after the start of programme/session, no compensation for the loss of any component of continuous assessment will be made by the University.
  • Confirmation of Admission by Applicant
    An email/ sms will be sent to the applicant by the University on the email ID/ mobile number specified by the applicant in his Application Form, providing the status of his admission, within 2 months of his submission of Application Form to the Study Centre/ Caravan Team/ Camp Office/ Department of Admissions at the University Campus. In case an applicant does not receive such email/ sms from the University, he must contact his allotted Study Centre/ University and get status of his admission. The University shall not assume any liability for any ignorance or default on the part of the applicant or the intermediatory, or incase of change of correspondence address or mobile number or mobile being switched off or network failure or change in/ wrong e-mail address etc.
  • Miscellaneous
    • The University reserves the right to introduce, modify or withdraw or discontinue any programme at any point of time.
    • The University may upgrade admission of student(s) to any programme at any time, as deem appropriate, provided it should not affect the student(s) in adverse.
    • The University may discontinue a programme if the number of admissions in that programme is less. In that case the fee of those students will be refunded without any deduction and student shall have no other claim against the University.
    • Unless otherwise specified by the University, the medium of instruction, examination and question paper will  be English, in all cases except in specific language programmes.
